About the Author

Fuelled by mischief and questionable ideas.

Hey, I'm Angela Dawn - writer, artist, photographer, and lifelong scribbler of thoughts that probably should’ve stayed in a notebook… but didn’t. I grew up surrounded by trees, full of curiosity, and obsessed with all things creative. As a kid, I was often sick, weirdly introspective, and way more comfortable with a pencil and paper than any social gathering.

I studied photography and spent over two decades exploring digital art and design. Along the way, I discovered that even messy feelings deserve fun outlets, which is basically how this book happened.

These days, I live in Atlantic Canada with my hubby, our two wildly wonderful boys, a house full of big feelings, hockey equipment, and half-finished projects.

Fun fact: Once, as a kid, I covered my bedroom walls, and furniture in crayon doodles. To me, it was a masterpiece of epic proportions. #sorrymom

This book is for anyone who’s ever cried in a grocery store parking lot, over-explained a boundary, or felt like their brain was about to self-sabotage. It’s part personal, part playful, and (hopefully) the good kind of weird.
